Planning your project
Once your quote request form is submitted, we will contact you within 48-72 hours. During peak periods, response times may extend up to one week.

Simply submit your quote request and mentioning that you would like to have your balcony built, and then a team member will connect you with a contractor we recommend.
You can renovate your patio by installing the boards on a treated wood structure, but it must be in perfect condition, as it is the foundation of your outdoor space.
Arlo hydra boards can be installed on treated wood joists spaced up to 24" apart. The arlo allia aluminum boards are also compatible with a wood or aluminum structure.

Products and samples
On a traditional patio or balcony, water flows between the boards, leaving the underside damp and limiting the use of this space. With the arlo hydra and arlo allia boards, the integrated drainage system and natural slope direct the water towards the end of the balcony, leaving the underside completely dry. This allows for the protection of the spaces below, adding storage or installing a secondary patio without worrying about moisture.

Absolutely. Our team will be happy to guide you on the type of patio board that will best suit your needs. While waterproof decking offers many benefits, we understand it’s not the right solution for every project, and we can suggest alternatives when appropriate.
The arlo hydra boards are ventilated to promote airflow and reduce heat buildup. Their high-density polyethylene (HDPE) formulation enhances stability in sunlight. For a patio or pool deck in full sun, light colors remain the most comfortable for bare feet.
When you complete your quote request, ask for the colors that interest you and our team will be happy to send you samples by mail within a few business days, so that you can choose the best finish for your outdoor yard.
Screws, spacers, caps, and all other types of hardware are always sold separately, but your material estimator will automatically include them to the quote to give you an accurate idea of the material costs.

Order processing and shipping
The majority of our products are kept in stock and are available very quickly. However, if you have a tight schedule, please indicate your desired date right from the start in your quotation request.
Yes, the warehouse is open to the public and it is often the fastest way to obtain your order. Our team will provide you with all the information when you confirm your order. Check our address and opening hours here.
Yes, it is possible to deliver your order to any construction site, anywhere in Quebec, Ontario, and the maritime provinces. Fees apply.
For delivery orders, composite and aluminum boards are shipped on pallets and secured with protective plastic wrap.
Store them flat, ideally in the shade, until installation. The HDPE-based composite may show a slight curve when exposed to heat before being secured, which is completely normal and corrects itself during installation.
Product Maintenance
Use a broom or a standard brush (with nylon bristles), then use a pressure washer with a fan nozzle, at low pressure. Direct the spray along the grain of the board, while maintaining a minimum distance of 30 cm between the spray and the surface with a steady motion. Test it on a small area beforehand to ensure that the settings are appropriate and don't damage the coating of your deck.
Stains can be washed with dish soap and are always easier to clean when they are fresh. Avoid any abrasive chemical products.

Yes, salt products like sodium chloride or calcium chloride are safe for arlo hydra boards. If a slight white residue appears, it rinses off easily with light cleaning or will naturally disappear with rain.
arlo allia
No, salt-based products attack aluminum. It is also not recommended to use calcium or magnesium chloride as well as acidic products, as they react with the metal.
By using a shovel with a plastic tip. Avoid metal shovels or shovels with a metal blade, as they may damage the patio surface.
